New Host of ‘Keys to the City- Charlotte’ podcast Will Be the Face of the Network
The First Podcast on the Network
QC Amplified’s first original podcast will be Keys to the City-Charlotte. This is a series I created while working as a home inspector. I wanted to produce some long-form content with realtors, so I decided to film some interviews. However, with my attention being redirected at QC Amplified, I decided to move that show to the network and replace myself as the host. I have high expectations for the new host. The new host of the Keys to the City-Charlotte podcast will be the face of the network.
So, the first podcast on the network will be a podcast that already has proof of concept. I received great reviews from followers, both online and in-person, who viewed the content. There was also a ton of engagement from the collaborative posts on Instagram.
Keys to the City-Charlotte
Not Your Typical Real Estate Podcast
This will not be a podcast meant to inform homebuyers and sellers on processes. There will be no discussion of interest rates or “housing market update”. This is what most real estate podcasts focus on.
Keys to the City-Charlotte will be a podcast focused on the stories of Charlotte-area realtors. It’s primary goal is to entertain and motivate realtors. Our audience will be those heavily involved in the real estate industry, such as mortgage brokers, closing attorneys, real estate brokers and more. This needs to be something they take to the gym with them, or listen to on the way to their showing or listing appoitment.
Who Will Host QC Amplified’s Flagship Podcast?
As the first podcast on Charlotte’s first video podcast network, this podcast will set the standard. Not only for future podcasts on the network, but also for real estate podcasts and the media landscape in Charlotte. So, of course the production quality is going to be the first thing people notice, but the personality of the host is what’s going to keep them there.
So who will it be?

A Real Estate Professional
The person selected to be the new host of the Keys to the City-Charlotte podcast will be the face of the network. The new host will also have to be a real estate professional. Most likely an agent with more than 5 years experience in the game. This experience is necessary for having his/her own stories as well as relating to the guest. This experience will also come in handy in situations were real estate concepts will have to explained to educate the audience.
Another factor will be how well they perform on camera. And we’re not just talking about how their content looks when their doing it alone, on their phone. We’re talking about a professional production with multiple cameras and lights. That’s a little different from recording with a cell phone.
A Win-Win-Win
Putting the right host is place would be a win for them. A win for the network and a win for Charlotte.
In no way do I want to put any pressure on the new host. My job will be to make it as easy as possible for them to make the most of this opportunity. If they enjoy what they’re doing, it will show in the content. The new host will benefit directly from having some polished content. This should result in an immediate brand boost for them. Not to mention all of the possibilities to earn more from sponsorships.
The network will have a podcast to promote along a personality. For now, this will be the focus of the network. All of our marketing and promotion will be geared towards this podcast. And hopefully we can build an audience from the inside out, starting with Charlotte. We’ll be bringing in real estate professionals with their own stories, and extensive knowledge of Charlotte.
The search is on, and we have to be selective. The person we choose could become a star.
