What Charlotte Should Expect From It’s First Video Podcast Network
It’s a tall task, but I’m sure I can do it. One show at a time I plan to build a podcast network. But one unlike any other. A video podcast network. I’ve spent the last 5 years producing video podcasts and I’ve seen where some mistakes were made. I’ve also seen some opportunities. I’ve also, in the last 5 years, seen that there’s no one in Charlotte doing podcast production quite like me. So, who better to pull this off than me. Here’s what Charlotte should expect form it’s first video podcast network.
Charlotte-Based Shows with Local Creators and Influencers
It will likely start with Charlotte-based thought-leaders, influencers and creators. These are the people that are comfortable on camera and have probably built a decent audience. This doesn’t mean that those to who don’t have these experiences won’t make great hosts. I know that there are plenty out Charlotteans to have expertise, but no following. These will be the ones starting from zero. And that’s fine. They’ll get their opportunity as well.
Not only do we want shows and hosts based here in the Charlotte area, we want to guests to be local as well. Of course we could have remote guests, but nothing is better than having guests in-person. Besides, this podcast network is all about Charlotte.
Plenty of Video Content from Charlotte’s First Video Podcast Network
By now, I think most people who look to start a podcast probably feel like video is necessary. And they’re right. Video is absolutely necessary for a podcast in 2026. Video is how most podcasts are being discovered by new listeners.
There are podcast networks in Charlotte, but none prioritize video. As a network, QC Amplified will provide full, professional video production, editing, distribution and promotion. Not only will this help the network grow faster, but it will attract great hosts to call their home. And not only will our audience get to hear our podcasts, they will have the option to watch via YouTube and social media.
Not Another Podcast Studio
It’s important to note that QC Amplified is not a podcast studio. We don’t have a studio space (yet), and we’re not here to sell podcast production. There are plenty of podcast studios that will film and edit your podcast. The difference between QC Amplified and any podcast studio is what’s done before the filming, and after the editing.
Since QC Amplified is heavily invested in each podcast, we have a plan before we even start looking for hosts. Our plan includes what topics we want to address and who cares about them. What will make people, not only tune in, but keep coming back and telling others about it.
Sponsorships and Community Support
Because our podcasts will be based in Charlotte, I’ll guests will be also. This means we will be broadcasting the communities of Charlotte to the world. This will hopefully allow support to flow in both directions. Our support for the community in broadcasting their messages to the world, and support of the community in participating and sharing the content.
I can’t forget about sponsorships. The consistency, quality and relevance will attract sponsors beyond Charlotte. As podcasts have become more mainstream the sponsorship money has increased. With QC Amplified having a video component to our podcasts, this opens up more opportunities for companies, brands and organizations that choose to be either a single podcast sponsor or a network sponsor.
Charlotte Needs a Video Podcast Network
Charlotte’s first video podcast network will be what a flourishing community of influencers and creatives have been needing- a solid base for a platform. There’s too much money flowing through this city for there not be one here.
My experience over the last 5 years, along with advancements in AI, will allow me to produce more work in less time. And with this increased productivity, I want to build something for Charlotte.
